The transport of a horse is the responsibility of the contracting authority.
Being the contracting authority you are responsible for any damages caused by the animal while loaded on, transport etc.
Be especially aware if you don´t have the liability of harm insurance While loading the animal there can be delays of the transport or even the transport cancellation in case of the animals' bad manners or misunderstanding etc.
In this case the expenses are not to be paid by the transporter.
The only exceptions are the damages caused by the wrong driving or breaking the driving rules.
If you have any claims to the transporter you are obliged to submit them in writing in 24 hours to reach him!

If it is not possible - even despite the big effort - to load the animal on,
the contracting authority is obliged to pay the full price of the groundage, way back and time of loading!
